Why Clinical at Life Care?

We know caring, experienced and knowledgeable clinicians are key to the delivery of quality care in our facilities. Providing a wide variety of services, including long-term care, post-acute recovery and short-term rehabilitation, allows our clinicians to continually learn and further enhance their skills.

Life Care supports our associates' desire for career advancement, development and continuing education, whether it's a nurse pursuing specialized care training, a CNA on the journey to becoming a licensed nurse or a social worker taking classes for a master's degree.

To supplement our clinical programs, Life Care's activities professionals plan and develop programs for our patients that promote exercise, relaxation, education and entertainment.

No two days are the same for our staff, but the one constant is the focus on our patients. With a team approach to care, our clinicians work alongside skilled therapists, licensed physicians and other highly trained members of the interdisciplinary team in the pursuit of excellent patient care delivery.

Our clinicians understand their work is more than just a job — it's a calling to build strong and nurturing relationships with those in need and their families.

"Each day, the leadership team reminds me that I am knowledgeable, skilled and unique. Each employee is made to feel that they are a necessary part of the company – the facility depends on you. I feel valued as a person and an employee, and that is very rewarding and uplifting."

Carrie Byrum, CNA

"I became a CNA in April 2008 and started at Life Care in June 2008. As a brand new CNA, I was nervous and scared. But my first day on the job, everyone made me feel welcomed. I loved how they reached out to me and made me feel a part of their team and gave me advice on everyone I cared for. I still use this advice today when I’m training a new associate."
